After completion of his education, he started business career in 1986 with small garment unit in industrial area of Karachi, Pakistan, where he continuously worked hard and within a short span of five years, he registered a company with the name of U&I Garments (Pvt.) Ltd, in 1991. He is the founder and owner of U&I Garments Group in which more than 10,000+ employees are working.

In 2002 he entered in retail business with the name of (J.) Junaid Jamshed which mainly deals in Apparel (Fashion Garments), in 2022 J. having 100+ retail stores nationwide in Pakistan and more than 35 international outlets in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.



In 2009 he launched the brand J. Fragrances which is now the top leading fragrance brand of Pakistan.



In 2012 he launched another fashion garments brand with the name of Almirah under the umbrella of U&I Garments (Pvt.) Ltd; till now Almirah has twenty-eight state of the art retail stores nationwide.



His research and development skills are the key which make this group versatile over competitors. He has around forty years of experience in the field of textile, fashion garments & fragrances. He has revolutionized the fashion and retail industry in Pakistan by launching three international repute brands of J., Almirah & J. Fragrances, he acquired in-depth knowledge of local as well as international market, development and management of various activities to enhance the effectiveness of the strategic plans in achieving organizational goals. In his business career he has been continuously visiting USA, Canada, EU countries and Middle East for promotion of international trade. Under his leadership company has worked for international brands like Kohls, Footlocker, South Pole, C & A, Jordach, Aeropostale, Janan Ltd, Y.M. Incorporation, KIK and Zara.



Now he is the Chairman, Owner and CEO of J. Group Junaid Jamshed (Pvt) Ltd & U&I Garments (Pvt) Ltd.
